New Macrowave™ Pasteurization System uses
Radio Frequency Energy to Kill Pathogens

New Macrowave™ Pasteurization Systems are available from Radio Frequency Company and are ideal for the treatment of bagged product or conveyed loose material. RF energy uniformly penetrates the product in all dimensions causing an even and controllable temperature rise ensuring effective microbe kill while avoiding the deleterious effects of prolonged exposure to high temperatures.

Macrowave™ Pasteurization Systems have been used reliably in the flour industry for over a decade. Now RFC is offering a complete line of systems for conveyorized or batch applications for pasteurization and/or deinfestation of nut meats, spices, various types of flour, tobacco, protein meals, xanthan gum, and other types of food ingredients as well as finished products.

Products treated with RF do not require the radiation warning labeling and no special licensing, permitting, or facilities are required. Systems are available in sizes to pasteurize food products at rates of 1,000 to 25,000 pounds per hour.
